Of course it is! And after reading this, you shouldn’t doubt God’s will for healing ever ever EVER again either and also be able to answer the question: ‘Is Healing Always God’s Will?’ just as quickly with just as much confidence and boldness!
1 Tim 2:3-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (NKJV)
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (NKJV)
Honestly answer the following 6 questions for yourself based on what you believe about salvation.
a) What is God’s will for salvation?
b) Does He want every person saved?
c) Can a person be saved anytime anywhere?
d) Does a person have to do anything to earn salvation?
e) Does God save people irrespective of the magnitude and type of sin they are in?
f) What is only requirement for salvation?
Next, try to answer the same questions again but now think about healing instead of salvation.
a) What is God’s will for healing?
b) Does He want every person healed?
c) Can a person be healed anytime anywhere?
d) Does a person have to do anything to earn healing?
e) Does God heal people irrespective of the magnitude and type of sin they are in?
f) What is the only requirement for healing?
Did ALL your answers about salvation match ALL your answers about healing? If not, you need to pay very close attention the next part. If it can be proven to you (from scripture) that not only salvation, but also healing is provided through the atonement, then you can’t in good conscience differentiate between God’s will for salvation and God’s will for healing ever again. You will have to conclude that they are the same, always and forever.
Isa 53:4-5 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (NKJV)
This is a prophesy about Jesus’ atonement crucifixion and what is going to take place there. Griefs is the Greek word ‘Choliy’ meaning sickness, disease, anxiety, calamity, infirmity and griefs. Sorrows is the Greek word ‘Makob’ meaning anguish, affliction, pain, and sorrow. Both words are ALWAYS used when referring to physical sicknesses, physical pain and physical infirmities. By His stripes (which He received at the whipping post) we ARE healed.
Matt 8:16-17 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” (NKJV)
Matthew quotes Isaiah’s prophesy and uses the proper meanings of the words by saying He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. Jesus healed physical people of physical sicknesses and cast out actual demons in order to fulfill this prophesy. But the actual fulfillment is not only in the healing and the casting out; it’s also in receiving the stripes which happened later.
1 Peter 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed. (NKJV)
This is a reference to the same prophesy and fulfillment. Jesus not only became sin for us but He also bore the punishment for our sins so we don’t have to. By His stripes we WERE healed. This has changed from present to past tense signifying that the provision has been made already. There is nothing left to do to provide for healing. Jesus did it all perfectly. It is FINISHED!
There were 2 parts to the one atonement:
- The beating at the whipping post was the first part where His physical body was broken for us, providing us with physical healing. (1 Pet 2:24) Symbolized by breaking bread.
- The death on the cross was the second part of the same atonement which provided for the salvation of our spirits. (Rom 5:8) Symbolized by the wine.
Now the question I often get is, ‘If healing is already provided for and accomplished, why are we not all just healed?’ Well, if salvation is provided for and accomplished, why are we not all just saved? It takes faith! God’s will is for all mankind to be saved and healed, but His will doesn’t automatically come to pass. It has to be taken by faith. God’s will is for all mankind to be saved, yet some go to hell. That proves God’s will is not automatically spontaneously and sovereignly done. Same with healing: It is God’s will that all mankind be healed but it takes faith to make the connection. He has offered salvation and healing to all mankind freely and sovereignly. If God’s will for healing and salvation were different, it would be impossible to have faith for healing because you can’t have faith in a changing will. If His will for salvation stands unchanged forever, so does His will for healing because it was provided through the same atonement. That is why you can have faith for it!
If you were to reason that somebody was not healed because ‘God is sovereign and can do what He wants to’, then how sure are you that you were even saved using the same logic? If you say somebody was not healed because of God’s timing, then how sure are you that you got saved when you believe you did and that God didn’t have another time in mind to save you? Everything you believe about salvation is exactly true for healing too. Both are always God’s will at all times. Do you ever doubt that God wants to save somebody? Then why do you doubt that He wants to heal them?
Mark 2:3-12 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” 6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” — He said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!” (NKJV)
Healing and forgiveness is the same thing to Jesus because they were provided in the same atonement. Healing is to serve as a sign that God also forgives. If God’s will for healing and salvation were different, the healing couldn’t be used as a sign. God’s will for salvation = God’s will for healing. Everything that is true about God’s will for salvation, that anybody can be saved anytime, anywhere regardless of their situation, past, sins or anything else, is true about God’s will for healing. Anybody, anytime, anywhere, regardless of their situation, past, sins or anything else can be healed. GOD WANTS THEM HEALED JUST AS MUCH AS HE WANTS THEM SAVED! As long as you differentiate between God’s will for salvation and God’s will for healing, you will only ever minister in little faith. You have ‘little faith’ (faith in experience) when you believe God wants some people well and others not. It takes faith in God, not experience, to believe He wants to heal all the time, everywhere, any person, no matter what. As long as you believe God changes His mind concerning His will, you will only ever have little faith.
Grow a pair, take God at His Word and step out boldly proclaiming “COME! ALL WHO LABOUR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN. COME ALL WHO ARE SICK AND LOST. THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS UNCHANGING, EVER INCREASING AND HERE TO SET YOU FREE! NOW BE FREE AND BE HEALED IN JESUS NAME!”
Come on believers! Give glory to your King by stepping on His enemy! That’s why you have feet!

There are a lot of things I can tolerate but when believers tell other people they are sick because they have something like bitterness or unforgiveness in their heart and that God can’t heal them until they get rid of that, I feel the spirit of drop-kick come over me. This is one of the most prolific and deep seated old covenant mindsets there are in the area of supernatural ministry.
Whenever you tell somebody that ‘God can’t heal you until you do this’, then you are preaching the law. You are putting those people under works, trying to make them earn the freedom Jesus died to give them. You are establishing conditionals for reconciliation that God never did. If you do that, you are of the wrong spirit and wrong ministry (2 Cor 3:4-9).
2 Cor 5:19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. (NIV)
God is NOT COUNTING men’s sins against them. That means He is NOT COUNTING your sins against you! Not now, not ever. Why? Because He counted them against Christ! If you are saying a certain sin is stopping God’s power, you are saying Jesus was a failure because He apparently didn’t die for that sin, and that God is still counting that sin against you. ‘Your sin is stopping God’s love’. What a load of bull! God loved you while you were yet sinners!
Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV)
His power is there to free you from sin. The Gospel is the power of God onto salvation. Jesus died to set you free. If the Power is there to free you, why do need the get free before you can gain access to the power so you can be set free? That is like telling a person in jail that they need to make their own key to unlock the prison door so they can and go out and get the warden’s key to open the same door. Why do you need 2 keys? Easy, you DON’T. Whenever you are telling people their sin is stopping God, you are counting their sins against them and then you operating in the ministry of death and condemnation (2 Cor 3:4-9). You have lost your saltiness because you are judging and condemning the very people you have been called to preserve.
John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (NKJV)
JESUS IS NOT CONDEMNING YOU!!!!
John 8:10-11 When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” (NKJV)
If you are pointing out people’s faults, you are in the same group as these Pharisees who pointed the woman’s faults out to Jesus. You are ministering condemnation and death. But what does Jesus do? He says, “I can’t help you until you repent and seek forgiveness for this willful sin of adultery you are in, so sorry, I guess you are getting stoned today.” No, he chased them away and told the woman HE DOES NOT CONDEMN HER. He is not counting her sins against her or yours against you because He is counting them against Himself. He was made sin for you! Stop counting other people’s sins against them! But what about the ‘go and sin no more’ part? Even if she went and sinned again, Jesus is still not going to condemn her. If He was going to condemn her for a future sin later, then He might as well not have saved her then and just let them stone her. It would totally defeat the purpose.
So why did He tell her that? Because the devil is waiting for you to sin so he can attack you with something. And when he does, you will be inclined to believe it is because you sinned, that God is now again displeased with you. Then you are going to go try and work for His approval again so you can get free again. Like a yo-yo on a string you have allowed the devil to be your puppet master. Sin, bring a sacrifice. Sin, bring a sacrifice. Sin, seek forgiveness. Sin, seek forgiveness. Like a hamster in wheel you will get nowhere doing that. You will be in and out of guilt and condemnation and it will always be based on your ability to seek forgiveness. It has NEVER been about our ability to seek forgiveness. It has ALWAYS been about Jesus’ ability to provide forgiveness. All you need to do is believe it and accept it! Then exercise dominion and authority by commanding the devil to get out of your life because ALL ALL ALL ALL his works are illegal! If he is in your life, it’s because you have failed to kick him out with the power Jesus died to provide. So get up, get over yourself and kick the devil out of your life!

People often say Jesus never told anybody “No” when they needed help. Well honestly I know what they mean but they are wrong. There was this one woman…
Matt 15:21-28 Then Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him, saying, “Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.” 23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, “Send her away, for she cries out after us.” 24 But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, help me!” 26 But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” 27 And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” 28 Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour. (NKJV)
So this woman comes to Jesus and asks Him to help her daughter. What does Jesus do? He ignores her. But He answered her not a word. I know he didn’t directly say, “No” but ignoring somebody who is asking you for help is basically the same thing. So Jesus is ignoring her and the disciples are fed up with her. They even ask Jesus to send her away. They were telling her no, too. But she doesn’t give up. She keeps on asking. Eventually Jesus answers her: But He answered and said, “I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” If this isn’t a “No” from Jesus, then what is? So now she has been ignored by God, rejected by His disciples and directly told no by Jesus Himself. Looks pretty bleak, right? Hold on, it gets worse.
She asks Him again. What is Jesus’ next answer? But He answered and said, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.” BAM! Another no? Is this woman just not getting it? Come on? Well, she got something, but what she got was something the disciples only realized in Acts 10. It took them years to figure out what this woman already knew. Look at her answer: And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.” Lets pause here and quickly make a few interesting connections:
- She wanted healing and deliverance for her daughter.
- Jesus says if He gave her that, He would be giving away the children’s BREAD.
- Jesus likens healing to BREAD. When we take communion, we break the BREAD in remembrance of His body broken for us. By His stripes, by His broken body we were healed.
- Jesus called Himself the BREAD of life.
- He taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily BREAD” Our daily life, our daily healing, our daily deliverance. Why daily? Because his mercies are new every morning! That’s why!
Ok let’s go on. This woman has now been ignored by Jesus, rejected by His disciples and directly told no twice by Jesus Himself. How many of you would have given up by this stage? Probably all of us. But she refuses to accept no as an answer. Why? Because she got the following revelation: Jesus is God and God is good. If Jesus is God and He is good then He will help me. If He doesn’t help me, then He is not good and therefore He is not God. Jesus was so impressed with her logic that he commended her for having great faith. Jesus only told two people that He was impressed with their faith. She was one of them. She got what she came to get. She asked God for something, was told no 4 times and left with what she asked for and with Jesus giving her praise! What did she realize that took the disciples until Acts 10? That the Gospel will reach the gentiles.
There is nothing that can stop the blessings of the sacrifice from coming your way. Not even God can say no to them (2 Cor 1:20). The only thing that hinders the power of God is you believing there is something hindering the power of God. This woman knew not even a no from Jesus could stop the power of God. She heard Jesus was setting people free. She heard the Gospel and placed her faith in the goodness of God. Change your mind to change your life. Decide whether you think God is good and follow some stubborn logic!
When you are sick and not receiving your answer, you need to become more stubborn than your sickness that is kicking hard against you. Dig in your heals and refuse to take no for an answer. Especially when the no is coming from you or the devil. God has said YES. If He said you are healed than your sickness is in direct violation of God’s will! Start cracking a whip and chase those thieves out of your temple!
Here is sample prayer you can use:
(Name of sickness), GET OUT OF MY BODY!!!! (Affected part of body), BE HEALED NOW!!
Jesus didn’t pray long prayers of petition when He healed people. He told the sickness and devil what He wanted them to do. Build yourself up in your most holy faith and make that communication of your faith (the authoritative command for your body to be healed) effective by acknowledging every good thing that is in you in Christ Jesus. (see Philemon 1:6 and Jude 1:20) Basically, you need to realize you were healed by Jesus’ stripes and then tell your body and the sickness what you realized! Never give up, never surrender. Even if God says no 4 times…
In Grace,
Cornel
