On Friday 21 January 2011, Rensia, Simon and I got into the car and drove almost 550km from Auckland to Gisborne to go love on some people. (Almost like in Acts 8:14-17!) On Saturday and Sunday we shared about the goodness of God, the greatness of His grace and about workings of the Holy Spirit. We then just did what the guys in Acts did. We laid our hands on them and the Holy Spirit did the rest. He filled them all, each and every one with joy and peace unspeakable. Some fell over, got drunk in the spirit, laid on the floor, laughed out loud because of this tangible love they experienced for the first time in their lives. There is no greater feeling than loving people through Jesus!

Soon, more people started to show up… On Sunday morning we probably had over 30 people. We proceeded to teach them about healing, deliverance and freedom from curses and just normal kingdom life. Each time we prayed, they got more and more set free. Demons manifested and left, curses manifested and came off too. Here are some of the healings and other things we experienced over the weekend:

• Back pain: 1 person completely healed. Another dropped from 9/10 to 4/10 pain level. Another’s leg grew out too.
• A little girl’s under-bite of about 5mm was healed when her jaw seemed to shrink back! Her teeth are now lined up!
• Warts on the bottom of a person’s feet immediately started shrinking and after about 10 minutes they were completely gone.
• One lady was scheduled for surgery to have 2 massive lymphoma lumps or something cut out from under her feet. The one lump started disappearing in my hand while I prayed! Freaky but awesome! By the end of the second day the lumps on both feet were gone. She is going to send us the MRI scans to prove it!
• Migraines and headaches healed!
• Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) in the wrist healed and pain free
• Week long cough and tight chest instantly gone and healed.
• Couple of sinuses got cleared and drained. One lady just had surgery on her sinuses and couldn’t even push down on her nose. She could blow, push down, pick, whatever after we prayed absolutely pain free!
• One lady has psoriasis from birth on her one ear. When we prayed nothing happened, but 10 minutes later she came and told us new skin had started growing out! She could feel it and check it in the mirror!
• One lady got healed of a hay fever episode, which caused her eyes to itch a lot. Instant healing, again!
• Then there was a girl who had partial paralysis on the side of her face and she was blind in one eye. She started crying out of the blind eye and said she couldn’t do that and that she hadn’t cried out of that eye in 7 years! Her paralysis improved quite significantly and feeling started to return to her face. She was just overwhelmed, as were we! Although we only saw an improvement this time, I am not giving up on her, and neither is Jesus!
• There were various curses of witchcraft and other curses broken over many of them. These manifested in their bodies in different ways and were cast out. As soon as something left peace and joy just flooded back to bring more restoration!
• Many words of wisdom and knowledge were spoken over people, prophesies were made and burdens removed. It was just awesome!
• Not to mention the emotional healings and restorations from all kinds including abuse, rejection, divorce, guilt, condemnation, fear etc.
• But the best by far was seeing these people who had never experienced power and love like this start to minister to each other with the same results. Not everything listed above was from the 3 of us praying and them watching, it was them praying for one another too. From the total present body ministering to each as needed. On Tuesday, after we got back I got an email from one lady who ministered to work friend the day after and got them saved! From never having done anything to getting people at work saved! Now that is an awesome testimony! Whoohoo Jesus!

We were sad to leave but will go back very soon! On the way back home we stopped of in Tauranga to visit a lady who asked us to come see her too. She invited a local pastor couple to come meet with us and they were great! Seems like we might go down to Tauranga for some more Holy Spirit Adventures soon…
