This past weekend Rensia, Simon and I went down to Tauranga to minister at City Life Church led by Pete & Rose Cloke. Thanks for having us over, it was truly an honour! Initially the weekend was supposed to be a youth only event for kids between 13 and 18. However when more and more people started calling the church they decided to open the Saturday evening’s event to all.

After teaching about 30 odd youths plus some of their parents about their identity in Christ on the Friday, we started praying for the sick. From the start we had the youth minister to each other. We took them through the basics step by step in a do-this-after-me fashion. Amongst the many healings we saw a man’s broken ribs restored from 9/10 pain level to 3/10. The man was completely pain free the next day. The pastor’s son, had very bad back pain. We showed the youth the leg-grow method on him. He got up, reached down and touched his toes pain free. His mom told us that in itself was a miracle he has never been able to touch his toes like that. A boy with broken toe’s pain went down significantly and he could move his toe twice as far without pain. He limped forward for prayer, but walked back normally afterwards.

On Saturday I taught the people about God’s will, how easy it is to identify what is from God and what is from the thief according John 10:10. Of course I also taught on how to deal with those areas. I also taught them about growing spiritually through meat and not just milk, and as always, grace vs law. We again ministered to many with the help of the youth and whoever else wanted to learn. We stuck to the follow-after-me way to help them gain some confidence to minister. We only got out of the church after about 11pm. People just didn’t want to leave.

Sunday morning started off with a couple of people sharing testimonies of how they were healed and what they experienced. I again had the opportunity to teach them about the kingdom and the importance of preaching with signs and wonders following, and how we are all anointed and able ministers of the New Covenant and don’t need to chase after different anointings. When we started ministering people flooded to the front and we spent a good 2 hours praying for every person. Weston Carryer, a famous New Zealand Evangelist was also in the crowd and he got in on the action and prayed for some people too. I can’t even begin to remember all the things we prayed for and saw healed, recovering or improved. There were shoulders, backs, feet, legs, jaws, heads, knees, brokenness, tiredness, fear, necks, numbness, hearts, lungs to mention a few. A truly awesome adventure indeed! Can’t wait to go back again!
